In the studio, I let colour guide me. These paintings are expressive and varied — shaped by curiosity, emotion, and the freedom to explore.

Sometimes they’re full of energy and movement. Other times they’re slow, layered, and more considered — like a dance that changes pace as it unfolds.

Some begin with my plein air work, carrying something of the light and feeling of the land.
Others are stirred by deeper themes — justice, hope, and imagining a better world.

Each painting grows from instinct, attention, and the movement of colour.
